Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy (PT) is a form of therapeutic intervention that looks at the science of movement, how our muscles move our body, and how abnormal muscle activity may lead to developmental delays.

WHO WE ARE

We aim to teach proper use of the body during movement, as well as how to move safely and efficiently while at work or play. Our pediatric physical therapists often make recommendations regarding the use and fit of adaptive equipment as well as other accommodations to enhance proper positioning, skill acquisition or increased mobility in an effort to further promote functional independence. Parent-family education and training are also an essential part of our therapy programs.

WHAT WE DO

Physical Therapists (PTs) at KIDZ KORNER focus on improving Gross Motor skills such as balance, strength, Range of Motion, and/or coordination in order to increase each child's level of function.  We draw from years of expertise and a variety of pediatric physical therapy approaches. We focus on enhancing your child’s development, restoring function and preventing disability from pediatric conditions, illness or injury.
